Scott Firestone
After an acting career that included three Broadway shows, TV series, films and commercials, Scott went on to work behind the camera and has had a long career as a director, showrunner and writer.
As a documentarian, his work includes historical and celebrity biographies for Lifetime, A&E and Bravo; music, fashion and travel docs for Disney, CBS and VH1. He co-created the long running series World of Wonder for Discovery and the music series Popped for Fuse.
His feature films include the dark comedy Wish You Were Dead, starring Cary Elwes, Mary Steenbergen and Christopher Lloyd, and as well as Broken, a psychological thriller which he wrote and directed.
Scott’s latest project is The Bad News Bears Changed the Game, a documentary about the ongoing legacy of the 1976 classic. In it, Scott and his Bears’ cast-mate and dear friend Christopher Barnes explore the ground-breaking cultural impact of the film by visiting with other Bears, as well as celebrities and directors who were influenced by the film.
His company, Firestone Productions, creates original series for networks, digital/branded web-series for AT&T, Hyundai, Microsoft and Samsung as well as trailers and EPKs for major studios. In addition to Los Angeles, he now has an office in Amsterdam, where he lives with his family.
