Mary Ramos

Mary Ramos has been a Film Music Supervisor for over 25 years, creatively helping directors find the best songs and  musical scores for their films. She has helped shape the music for blockbuster features, fierce independents and passionate documentaries. A longtime collaborator with Quentin Tarantino, with several Grammy nominated soundtracks and two Guild Awards for “Django Unchained,” and “Once Upon A Time…in Hollywood,” she also worked on “The Hateful Eight” for which maestro Ennio Morricone won many awards including the BAFTA, the Golden Globe, and his first ever Academy Award for Best Original Score. She has been a trusted collaborator with other world class directors, showrunners and producers as well, including Aaron Sorkin (“Being the Ricardos”), RZA (“Wu-Tang: An American Saga – S2”), Cate Blanchett (“Mrs. America”), Tom McCarthy (“Spotlight,” Win Win,” “The Visitor,” “The Station Agent”), Robert Rodriguez (“From Dusk Til Dawn”), Kerry Washington, and Reese Witherspoon (“Little Fires Everywhere”), Elisabeth Moss (“Imperfect Women”), Dakota Fanning (“Hello Apartment”), Rick Rubin (“South Park – Chef Aid”), and Dennis Lehane (Apple TV’s “Black Bird” and “Smoke,” featuring an award-winning title song by Radiohead’s Thom Yorke). She just completed work on an important documentary about climate activism entitled “Just Look Up,” produced by Adam McKay and actor Jeremy Strong and she is currently working on Tom McCarthy’s newest film, “The Statement” and the highly anticipated “Neuromancer” adaptation for Apple TV.
