Alfred Lutter

Alfred Lutter, 64, grew up in Ridgewood, New Jersey.  He began acting at age 11 and soon starred alongside Ellen Burstyn and Jodie Foster in Martin Scorsese’s seminal 1974 film Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore

Woody Allen then cast Lutter to appear as the young version of his character, Boris, in 1975’s Love and Death

Continuing to work with great directors, Lutter was then cast by Michael Ritchie to play the brainy Ogilvie in the original The Bad News Bears, and its sequel, The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training

He also starred alongside James Earl Jones as Phillip in The Cay, a two-hander television movie about castaways on a Caribbean island.

After high school, Lutter left the film business behind and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a Master of Science in Management from Stanford University. He founded Lutter Consulting, a technology strategy company. He has also served as the CTO of Cumulus Media, E*Offering, Lynda.com and Tenant Inc.
