Julia Sweeney

Julia Sweeney is an actor, writer, comedian and classic film lover.  She is from Spokane, Washington and is a UW alumnus.  She joined The Groundlings improv group in Los Angeles and from there was cast on SNL where she worked from 1990 – 1995.  Her androgynous character Pat was wildly popular at the time.  She has created 3 one-person comedy shows: God Said Ha! (show was on Broadway, filmed by Miramax), Letting Go of God (Showtime) and Julia Sweeney: Older & Wider (YouTube.)  She has performed in many TV shows and films including Pulp Fiction, The Threesome, Frasier, Shrill, American Gods, Not Dead Yet, Night Court, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and many others.
