Kate Flannery
Kate Flannery is an actor, singer and a writer, best known for her 9 seasons as Meredith the drunk on NBC’s multi-Emmy, SAG Award and Golden Globe winning comedy series The Office. In November Simon and Schuster will be releasing Kate’s hilariously offbeat memoir “Overserved The Lucky Life of the Office Drunk.” In Kate’s memoir she shares deeply personal stories about growing up an Irish American bar owner’s daughter, her crawl to fame, from waiting on Hollywood’s rich and famous to getting her big break at age forty when she landed the role of Meredith, everyone’s favorite drunk on “The Office.”
Kate’s acting career has seen her portray an eclectic group of characters in both film and television.
Audiences can catch Kate and Jane Lynch when they tour performing their cabaret act “The Trouble With Angels” in select performing arts centers and theaters across the country. This past November they performed around the country on their “A Swingin’ Little Christmas” tour performing songs from their hit holiday album, “A Swingin’ Little Christmas,” which was in the Billboard top 10 for several weeks.
Kate is an alumnus of Chicago’s Second City national touring company.
