Sloan DeForest

Sloan De Forest is a writer and film historian who has authored three books in the Turner Classic Movies library: The Essential Directors, Dynamic Dames, and Must-See Sci-Fi. Her contributions as a writer/researcher include Warner Bros.: 100 Years of Storytelling by Mark Vieira, Natalie Wood: Reflections on a Legendary Life by Manoah Bowman, and Grace Kelly: Hollywood Dream Girl by Jay Jorgensen. Sloan has appeared on the CNN series The Movies and the documentary Julia Roberts: A Hollywood Fairytale. She has also made guest appearances on Turner Classic Movies and served as a consultant on the HBO/Amblin documentary Natalie Wood: What Remains Behind. A native Texan, she lives in Hollywood.
