THE TCM ARCHIVE PROJECT

Soon after Turner Classic Movies launched in 1994, the fledgling network began what was known as the TCM Archive Project. This was an effort to put to film an amazing number of interviews with the makers of the very movies TCM was showing 24/7, uncut and commercial-free. With a small group of staffers armed with research and expertise, this effort resulted in hundreds of interviews with actors, directors, producers, screenwriters, stuntmen, agents, makeup artists, wardrobe designers and other men and women who put the class in classic. Join this esteemed panel of former TCM staffers as we hear of how they conceived and conducted the TCM Archive Project, the heroic, multi-year effort to capture priceless stories, memories and insight for all time.
