The best opening credits also set the tone and mood, foreshadow themes and motifs revealed in the story and set audience expectations. For more than 50 years, acclaimed title designer Dan Perri has created some of the most iconic opening credit sequences in cinematic history, including The Exorcist, Nashville, Taxi Driver, Airplane!, Raging Bull, The Stuntman, and the famous opening crawl in Star Wars. In conversation, Perri will discuss in detail segments of his work and will discuss the artistic well from which he pulls his visionary designs and ideas.
