Beloved singer, actress, and activist Doris Day was everyone’s all-American girl. In this intimate panel discussion, some of her longtime friends and collaborators share personal stories of her varied life and career—from big-band vocalist and recording artist to movie superstar. After starring in nearly 40 films, she left Beverly Hills to pursue animal rescue work, continuing her trailblazing efforts through her own Doris Day Animal League and Doris Day Animal Foundation, which carries on her legacy today. Panelists include her friend and former assistant, Meg Howard; Lea Price of the Doris Day Animal Foundation; Jackie Joseph, her costar on The Doris Day Show; and Mary Clark, her personal friend for over 40 years. Moderated by Eddie Muller.
