Michael Allin
Michael Allin is the screenwriter of Enter the Dragon (1973), which has been elevated to icon status by its fans and honored by the Library of Congress as one of the greatest films of all time. His novel, The Christmas Kid, was adapted by Disney into a feature film, I’ll Be Home for Christmas (1998). Other screenwriting credits include Flash Gordon (1980), Truck Turner (1974), Border Cop (1980), Checkered Flag or Crash (1977), and the film adaptation of his play Hotel Paradise (1995), directed by Nicolas Roeg. He is currently penning and co-producing a live stage production of Enter the Dragon. Also in the works is a theatrical adaptation of his bestselling nonfiction book, Zarafa—“the true story of the giraffe that walked to Paris”—into a musical.
