Jody Eisenstein-Miracle

Jody grew up in West Bloomfield, Michigan. After graduating from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor; Northwestern University; and a yearlong residency at the Burt Reynolds Theatre in Jupiter, Florida; she came to New York. After doing a tour of Cinderella as the Wicked Stepmother and other stock musical shows (much fun!), she met a man named Ken Greengrass, who was the personal manager to Florence Henderson, Diahann Carroll, and Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormé (to name a few). Through Mr. Greengrass, she helped to produce three roasts for the Friars Club in New York. The roastees were Danny Aiello, Drew Carey, and—in 1999—Jerry Stiller. Jerry’s roast was the first that aired on Comedy Central, to incredible ratings. After meeting Jerry and his wife Anne at the roast, Jody began to work for them. This job lasted 21 years, until Mr. Stiller’s passing in 2020.

On her days off, Jody spends time with her husband, Wesley, her two stepchildren, Lily and Graeme, and her adored cockapoo, Brucie Baruch (Jerry named him!).

Jody now runs her own business, helping older adults with everyday living and independence. And she still dabbles in the show business life. She thanks TCM for having her on the incredible panel for “Assisting the Classics.”
