Bernardo Rondeau
Bernardo Rondeau is Senior Director of Film Programs of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, which presents film series and screenings year-round. Previously, he worked as Assistant Curator of Film Programs at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) where he presented the first Los Angeles retrospectives of Béla Tarr, Bong Joon-ho, Sergei Parajanov, Arnaud Desplechin, and Lee Chang-dong, among others. He holds an MA in Cinema and Media Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles’s School of Theater, Film and Television, where he cofounded The Crank—a graduate-student organization that programs public screenings of archival prints—and where he has served as an adjunct professor.
