JERRY ZUCKER

Jerry Zucker began his career in collaboration with his brother, David Zucker, and Jim Abrahams when they formed their production company, known as ZAZ. The team wrote and produced KENTUCKY FRIED MOVIE (1977), wrote and directed the comedies Airplane! (1980) and TOP SECRET (1984), and the television series Police Squad!  They also directed the comedy Ruthless People written by Dale Launer. They wrote and produced The Naked Gun (1988), directed by David Zucker.

Jerry also directed Ghost (1990), First Knight (1995) And Rat Race (2001). As a producer, his work includes; A Walk In The Clouds (1995), My Life (1993), My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997), Fair Game (2010), Friends With Benefits (2011), Mental (2012), and Dear Dumb Diary (2013). Currently, he is writing a musical comedy based on the holographic dual of anti-desitter black hole superhorizon locality in conformal field theories.
